YCEE Forum 2026

Scope of the Commentaries

We invite authors to submit commentaries addressing, among others:

• the overall quality and scientific value of the report;
• theoretical assumptions and conceptual framework;
• research methodology and use of empirical evidence;
• the thematic scope and interpretation of findings;
• implications for youth research;
• recommendations for youth policy;
• future directions for research on young people;
• comparisons with findings from other countries and international studies.

Authors are also encouraged to relate the report's conclusions to their own research and broader international perspectives on youth.

Publication

Accepted manuscripts will be published on a rolling basis in the Commentaries section of Youth in Central and Eastern Europe.

Each accepted contribution will:

• receive a DOI;
• be published online immediately after the completion of the editorial process;
• constitute a fully citable scholarly publication.

All published commentaries will subsequently form the YCEE Forum 2026 collection.

Article type: Commentary

Length: 2,000–4,000 words

Language: English or Polish

Citation style: APA (7th edition)

Review process: Editorial review

Submission deadline: (to be announced by the Editorial Office)
