Higher Education During the War – Ukrainian Students in Poland and Ukraine

This paper analyzes and compares the experiences of Ukrainian students studying in Poland and Ukraine during the ongoing armed conflict. The aim of the research was to identify adaptation challenges, assess the educational situation, and understand the differences in student life in both countries. A mixed research strategy was used, including surveys and focus interviews conducted on a group of 58 people. The results indicate better technical infrastructure and career prospects in Poland, combined with a sense of greater social comfort in Ukraine. The conclusions emphasize the need for systemic support for youth in crisis conditions.
