Homelessness pathways

Abstract

The purpose of this paper is indicate the new research directions on reasons of homelessness, especially of young people. The most important question is if knowledge of this reasons we can only repeat or should evolve and consider about the role of education, globalization, history and culture and social assistant or penal system for homelessness pathways. Knowledge about causes of homelessness had its development in Poland on 90’ last century and shortly after year 2000. Contemporary research based on this knowledge, concern people in advanced age and with long homelessness practice and street children. This paper analyzed reasons of homelessness declared by homelessness people in advanced age and long homelessness practice and declared by interviewed young people, till 37 years old. Obtained qualitative data in reference to history and culture made possible detect changes ins reasons of this phenomenon.
