This thematic issue explores the role of young people in contemporary processes of social change, with particular attention to civic engagement, education, migration, and identity formation. The published articles address intergenerational volunteering as a form of civic participation, the experiences of Ukrainian students and refugee youth in Poland, the impact of forced migration on identity and security, religious practices in post-pandemic society, young people's interest in socio-political issues, and the challenges associated with educational expansion and graduate overeducation. The issue also presents studies on the electoral behaviour of young voters and the adaptation of Ukrainian youth displaced by the war. Together, the contributions highlight the opportunities and challenges shaping youth citizenship and social participation in a rapidly changing world.
